This is not an orchid related post, but still 'plant' related one in the form of fruits. Just to show you of my 'artwork' during a fruit carving competition in my school in conjunction with School Co-operation Day..I've come out with an idea to carve out a peacock out of watermelon and combined with other fruits and veggie for the tail..and with the help of few students we've managed to finish everything just in time.
Though a bit rough here and there (when you see it up close), because of the time constraint and in fact I have no formal training in fruit carving, I hope this is good enough.
Walaupun cara OC buat agak kasar sebenarnya kalau dilihat dari dekat, sebab nak kejar masa..tambahan pula OC belajar sendiri buat ukiran buah ni, macam ni pun kira siaplah seadanya. Kalau masa masih ada OC nak tambah sikit lagi, tapi inilah saja yang sempat..
The artist is the confidant of nature, flowers carry on dialogues with him
through the graceful bending of their stems and the harmoniously tinted nuances of their blossoms. Every flower has a cordial word which nature directs towards him.
